Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

In very early time this group had created, I had made a icon for it.

A PNG image 100x50 (px)

I thought that it was a temporary icon for group until someone make a better icon (now it was a quite long time and maybe people get used to look at current one). And I get some suggestion icons from ~samsite-X. They list below, you can take a look _{(I can't show it in image-mode because regular group don't allowed to post image in blog entries).} *BlueCato submit another new one.

Let me know if we need to change the current group icon or not. If u want change, you can provide your design or just pick one of those one above by your opinion.

Now we've got 6 icons (includes current one). Do you want to change it. Personally I think current one's still a nice one, at least now, in standard of deviantart groups.

What is your point?... I'm not sure what're you want to say here.

Let me note, this's a journal entry of a public Group

that call for new/refresh designed icon. It's long time ago when we need a new one due long time stay with the same old ico. Now it's finished and recently I don't feel necessary to get new ico.

But if you think it's better to appear with a decent animated icon and you be able to created one then go ahead. We'll consider if you make this, welcome any helpful suggestions and idea about group interface elements. Otherwisde I don't know what are u talking about?

It's almost closed now. I saw majority vote for GroupIcon1, then I wait some days and nobody give any idea, so I changed follow their opinion. Current icon appears newly, about half day ago.

BTW, you mean present is newly change or original one? I admit I'm not a designer myself, just make a icon at first when nobody make it. You can provide ur design any time, if it's good, it'll be used soon.
